Elden Ring was developed with a unique lore and story. Even though it is a Soulsborne game that usually doesn't focus on the story, Elden Ring actually has a strong story and lore from its characters. One interesting thing is the character of Radahn, one of the bosses you will face.

1. Son of a Powerful God Couple
Radahn is the son of Queen Rennala and Radagon who is the strongest god. The power of his parents passed down to Radahn which earned him great respect. Radahn's power is so great that he ordered the stars and held them in place with his gravitational force, earning him the nickname Starscourge.
Radahn was located in Redmane Castle which was his personal stronghold. Usually he oversees his territory from this area. No wonder Radahn is considered one of the strongest characters who have many territories and soldiers.
2. Godfrey’s Biggest Fan
From a young age, Radahn was captivated with Elden Lord Godfrey. Wanting to be more like his idol, Radahn carved a lion, Godfrey's symbol, all over his armor. That's what then inspired him to become one of the Elden Lords.
This is not easy because throughout his life. Despite being born to a strong father and mother, in fact he had to be raised by a stepmother named Marika because his father, Radagon tried to remarry to become Godfrey's successor.
3. Cursed by Malenia
What happened in his family made Radahn meet a terrible incident where he as a demigod had to fight against his relatives. In the end, only he and Malenia were left to become Elden Lords. In the second fight, Radahn actually had the upper hand.

Radahn, still wearing his armor, still wielding his weaponry, and even still on his little horse now roamed the sandy dunes of Caelid's southeast coast as an empty figure whose only job was to destroy.
4. Radahn's Death Is Important
Suffering from being cursed, finally a festival has been organized by his men at Castle Redmane where these warriors must defeat Radahn and retrieve his runes while freeing him from misery. The festival is a success, and Radahn is freed from his tormenting curse.
His death made the stars he once conquered collapse and you can find craters of shooting stars like those to be found east of Fort Haight, deep within the Mistwood Ruins. His death allowed full access to the Eternal City, Nokron.
5. Defeating Radahn Is Not Mandatory
Defeating Boss is mandatory for at least one game ending and for completing certain NPC quest lines. But he doesn't necessarily have to be defeated to finish the game. You can beat them to get certain endings and unlock certain NPCs.
But if you find it difficult to beat it, you can pass it and still be able to finish this game.
