After her death, Rika became a protective curse spirit for Yuta. When Yuta is bullied by his classmates, Rika gets angry and kills those who bullied Yuta. 3. Rika's Strength

Rika's power comes from her great love for Yuta, becoming a special class curse with extraordinary powers. When out of control, Rika can destroy an entire city alone. Because of her power Geto fell in love with her and wanted her, but Yuta didn't let him get Rika. Rika's strength is equal to that of Sukuna, a special class cursed spirit residing in Yuji's body.

4. Rika and Yuta's meeting

Rika suffers from pneumonia which causes her to be hospitalized. Until one time Yuta passed in front of her room being treated. Yuta was fascinated by Rika's beauty, until they looked into each other's eyes. Their closeness began to grow since then, until they finally became good friends.

5. Rika and Yuta's Agreement

When they were playing in a park, Rika gave Yuta a present because it was his birthday at that time. When Yuta opened the gift he realized that the gift was a ring. Rika said that Yuta had to promise to marry her when he grew up. Yuta accepted the invitation and promised each other. But fate said otherwise, Rika died before fulfilling her promise. Yuta does not let Rika go, which causes Rika to become a cursed spirit who is always by Yuta's side.
