Here are some facts about Sengoku in One Piece, a Marine with true justice in One Piece!
Anime & Manga | 17 October
Sengoku served as a Navy Fleet Admiral in One Piece before the time skip. The only time he gets involved in the fight is in the Marineford plot (other than flashbacks). This time, Dunia Games wants to talk about various facts about Sengoku in One Piece. Take a look at the discussion below!
1. Enrolled in the Same Batch as Garp and Tsuru
Sengoku enrolled in the Marines along with the Marine Hero, Monkey D. Garp, and Tsuru. According to information from the Vivre Card Databook, Sengoku's age when he joined the Marines was 23 years old. Currently, Sengoku is 79 years old. In other words, they have been working together for 56 years.
2. Has Haoshoku Haki
During the story, no Marines are shown to have Haoshoku Haki, and Sengoku never showed it. But according to the Vivre Card Databook, he does have the Haki. This means Sengoku is one of the few characters in One Piece to master all three types of Hakis.
All Marines at the rank of Vice Admiral or above can use Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki. Therefore, Sengoku can certainly master all three. Sengoku is also the only Marine who has confirmed Haoshoku Haki so far.
3. Succeeding Kong as the Fleet Admiral
Prior to Sengoku, Kong was the Marine Fleet Admiral. Currently, Kong is above the position of Fleet Admiral and he works directly for the World Government. Kong doesn't even need to follow the rules of the Marines even though he was actually still wearing his uniform.
Kong's promotion seemed to occur after the death of Roger, who was later replaced by Sengoku.
4. His Devil Fruit
Sengoku's devil fruit is very unique. He ate the Mythical Zoan fruit but it's different from the others. He ate Hito Hito no Mi: Daibutsu. Unlike Chopper, this fruit gives Sengoku the ability to turn into a large golden Buddha statue.
In that form, Sengoku is able to emit shock waves as seen in the Marineford war. It is not known whether the ability comes from his devil fruit or Sengoku just throws high-level Busoshoku Haki at the opponent.
5. Served as the Fleet Admiral for More Than 20 Years
If you are wondering how long Sengoku has served as a Fleet Admiral, the answer is over 20 years. This was because Sengoku had been a Fleet Admiral since the Ohara incident 22 years ago. Sengoku admits that being an Admiral or Fleet Admiral means having to work directly under the World Government and the Tenryuubito.
During those 22 years, he didn't mind until the World Government made a decision that made Sengoku angry, and resigned from his post. Garp himself never wanted to work under the Tenryuubito or the World Government. That's why he refused the post of being promoted to Admiral or Fleet Admiral.

6. Currently Working as a General Inspector
After stepping down from the position of Fleet Admiral, doesn't mean Sengoku has retired from the Marines. Currently, he's working as a general inspector. It is not clear what his job in this position is, but he looks more relaxed because he is free from big responsibilities.
The reason he resigned as Fleet Admiral was that he was angered by the World Government for hiding the Impel Down breakout. Due to his age, it seems that Sengoku will no longer be involved in any battle.
7. Has a Pet Goat
Sengoku has a pet goat, but there is something strange about this goat. Since the flashback of the Ohara incident, Sengoku has been keeping this goat. Then when we talk about Rocks' flashback, this goat was also seen.
If this is the same goat, then it has already lived for more than 20 years. Is it possible that a goat could live long enough?
8. His Intelligence
Although Sengoku is strong in combat, he is also a very helpful tactician in the Marineford war. He had said that even though the Navy won in numbers, they could still lose to the pirates.
He was then able to create a situation where Akainu could destroy the Whitebeard Pirates' main ship. Because of Sengoku too, Ace and Whitebeard could be killed.
9. Respected by Gol D. Roger
In chapter 965, Roger beat up a small number of Marines and told them to bring Garp or Sengoku if he wanted to catch the Roger Pirates. This means Roger acknowledged Sengoku's power. At that time, Sengoku became one of the strongest Marines.
Together with Garp, Sengoku was also able to defeat Shiki who was rampaging at Marineford. The war even destroyed half of Marineford. In the Marineford arc, the power of Sengoku Buddha also looked so strong that it could knock out any opponent within its reach.
10. Foster Father of Rosinante and X-Drake
Rosinante was raised by Sengoku after Doflamingo killed his father. Because of that, Rosinante or Corazon became a Marine spy in Doflamingo's group. Unfortunately, Corazon died at the hands of his own brother.
According to the Vivre Card Databook, Sengoku also raised X-Drake after he escaped from the Diez Barrels group.
