Netflix once again announced another season for its popular K-drama series after confirming the second season for Squid Game, now it’s Sweet Home that is getting its second season. Not just its second season, Netflix also confirmed season 3 for Sweet Home.

Netflix announced the new season for this series on Netflix Korea’s official Instagram account. Netflix also mentioned that it’s working on Season 2 & 3 of Sweet Home simultaneously. 1. Sweet Home Season 1’s Success

The first season of Sweet Home has been a massive success, as the series became one of the most popular Netflix originals upon its release. The suspenseful story in each episode and the brilliant acting of the cast made this drama an instant hit. 

Sweet Home follows Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang), a reclusive student who recently moved to a new apartment after losing his family in a tragic accident. He experiences a series of horrific events as monsters start appearing in the apartment.

2. Lee Eung-Bok On the New Season of Sweet Home

Lee Eung-Bok is also set to return to his directorial role for Season 2 & 3 of Sweet Home. Lee Eung-Bok also mentioned that the second season will have a new setting and will be much more refined.

He also hinted that Sweet Home will have a bigger universe and feature more stunning visual effects. "Season 2 will include a new setting. The technical details that we couldn’t refine in Season 1 will be further honed in Season 2," Lee Eung-Bok stated in a press release.

3. Returning Cast

In Season 2 & 3, Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Park Gyu Young, and Go Min Si are set to reprise their roles. Song Kang plays Cha Hyun Soo, a reclusive student who recently moved into the apartment. Lee Jin Wook plays Pyun Sang Wook, Cha Hyun Soo’s neighbor, and a mysterious former detective. Lee Si Young plays a former firefighter named Seo Yi Kyung.

Go Min Si plays Lee Eun Yoo, the younger sister of Lee Eun Hyuk, the smartest student portrayed by Lee Do Hyun in the first season. Park Gyu Young plays a promising musician named Yoon Ji Soo.

4. New Additions to the Cast

Aside from the returning members of the cast, Sweet Home Season 2 & 3 will also feature new actors. Some of them are Yoo Oh Sung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yeol, and Jung Jin Young.
