Re: in Japan, and followed by the second film, BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re:Re: which will air on August 9, 2024 in Japan.

The opening sequence of the first film features a new animated set created for Kessoku Band's new song "Tsukinami ni Kagayaki" (Sparkle as Usual). Ai Higuchi wrote the lyrics, -otoha- composed the song, and Ritsuo Mitsui arranged the song respectively. The first film in this anime series is entitled Bocchi the Rock! Re: and the second film is entitled Bocchi the Rock! Re: Re:.

The anime is a production from Clover Works that was broadcast from October to December 2022. Bocchi The Rock! itself is an adaptation of the manga by Aki Hamaji with the same title, where the story follows the story of Hito Goto (aka Bocchi), an introverted high school girl who spends most of her time alone and her heart only lies in her favorite guitar.

She doesn't do much every day, he just likes playing his guitar at home. Eventually, Bocchi met Nijika Ijichi, a girl who was looking for a guitarist for her band, Kessoku Band.
