The fourth anime movie in the My Hero Academia franchise has revealed important information via its official website and Twitter account. This movie, entitled My Hero Academia the Movie: You're Next (My Hero Academia: You're Next), is scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 2nd 2024.

In the released trailer, fans can see footage of exciting action featuring popular characters from this series. This movie will be directed by Tensai Okamura from BONES studio. The movie's production team will also include many returning staff members, including screenwriter Yosuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and composer Yuki Hayashi.

My Hero Academia manga creator Kohei Horikoshi will oversee the overall project and is responsible for the original character designs. The story of this movie will present an original story that takes place at the same time as the story timeline in the current My Hero Academia anime series, with the background of a society facing chaos due to war.

My Hero Academia: You're Next is a continuation of the success of the three previous movies in this franchise. Previous movies, such as My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission, have achieved great popularity among fans.

Meanwhile, a seventh season of the My Hero Academia anime has also been announced, with a special episode of My Hero Academia Memories set to premiere on April 6th 2024, followed by the main season seven starting on May 4th 2024.
