The film tells the story of a highly respected police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), Detective Ezekiel "Zeke" Banks (Chris Rock), and his new partner (Max Minghella). They are in charge of the gruesome investigation into the murder case.

This murder case is even reminiscent of the terrible past. Without realizing it, they are caught in a deeper mystery. Zeke also finds that he is in the middle of a terrible game arranged by the killer.

As time passes, Anna meets her apartment neighbor named Jane Russell (Julianne Moore). The two of them often take the time to chat and exchange stories about their respective lives. Unfortunately, Anna's happiness did not last long because she saw the terrible events that happened to Jane.

Anna, who has excessive anxiety, must be able to fight her anxiety to save Jane.

They lived in a very quiet environment to avoid strange creatures from finding and killing them. Estella's talent in the fashion world seems to have caught the attention of Baroness von Hellman. The relationship between the two is very interesting and makes Estella turn into Cruella de Vil who wants revenge.
