One Punch Man is an action manga that is later adapted into anime. This time, One Punch Man will make a new leap to other media by announcing a live-action film adaptation that is currently being developed by Sony. Justin Lin, the director of the Fast and Furious franchise, has been appointed as director in this project. The script will be written by Scott Rosenberg & Jeff Pinkner, while Avi and his son Ari Arad will be producers along with Justin Lin.

Justin Lin first joined the Fast and Furious franchise in the third installment, Tokyo Drift, which was released in 2006. Since then, Lin has directed four other films in the Fast and Furious franchise. In addition, he also directed Star Trek Beyond and several episodes of True Detective. Production of the film will only begin production at the end of the year, which means fans will have to wait a while for it to hit the big screen.

One Punch Man is a superhero-themed anime based on the manga of the same name that combines action, comedy and satire in the story, while faking many tropes endemic to the genre. The hero, Saitama, becomes such a strong person that he can defeat any opponent with just one hit. Unfortunately, he becomes dissatisfied because there is nothing left to challenge him.

This anime is arguably quite superior because it includes genre absurdities and fun that can entertain the audience in every episode. While waiting for the live-action film, you can watch every episode of the anime and watch Saitama's every action in finding someone who can beat him.
