This film depicts Batman as a mysterious figure and Heath Ledger's maximum acting adds to the excitement of the battle between Batman and Joker. Although some of the dialogue looks imperfect, overall this movie is really cool.

2. Memento

Memento has had a huge impact on the film industry. Through this film, Nolan tries various things that he doesn't usually do. In the introduction, Memento was described as an unusual film from a production standpoint.

3. The Prestige

This film is based on the novel by Christopher Priest. The Presti brings us the story of a magician in the Edwardian era who tries to amaze his audience. Even though the novel has good quality, there's a chance the film can fail at bringing it.

Fortunately, Nolan managed to reflect on the writing in the novel to be worked on the big screen in a good and easy-to-understand way. The figures of Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman are really capable of acting as rival magicians.

4. Dunkirk

Dunkirk is Nolan's first historical film and one of the best war films ever. Through his excellent cinematic style, Nolan recreated the tension during World War II. In the spring of 1940, Allied troops were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, as Nazi forces advanced into France using their superior tactics and engineering.

During this time, the soldiers were waiting for the rescue ship to save 400,000 people in this war. The story is really good, the scene execution is excellent, and the dialogues are great.

This film can deliver tension and fears of war in an extraordinary way.

5. Batman Begins

What’s bad in Batman films before Batman Begins makes us pessimistic about their next quality. But Nolan proved himself to this challenge. He told the story of Batman since the beginning in this film which is a smart way to do.

As the title implies, we are introduced to the beginning of Bruce Wayne as a hero named Batman. The main strength in this film is the visualization and dialogue that feels right. In addition, Christian Bale, who is plotted as the figure of Batman and Bruce, is able to represent this figure very well.

Another cool thing is that Nolan developed this film with a thriller style that makes many people eager to know the next scenes. The storyline in this film is honestly very unpredictable.
