Ericko 'soapking' Lim was a former professional gamer who had played League of Legends. But for one reason or another, Ericko finally decided to retire from being a pro player and plunge into the world of shoutcaster. With the help of Garena, his name was increasingly well known for being able to bring League of Legends competitions quite well.

In September 2017, Ericko went even further by leaving Garena to focus on becoming a full-time YouTuber. Being a successful YouTuber is not easy, though. At the beginning of his career, Ericko often received blasphemous or unpleasant words. But basically, Ericko is someone who doesn't give up easily. He also created his Youtube channel named 'Ericko Lim'.

A few days ago, a post on social media Facebook suddenly went viral, especially for gamers. The post was from Ericko who was engrossed in taking a photo with a BMW luxury car.

Underneath, Ericko wrote the caption "for those who are still pouting." It turns out Ericko wants to convey to all of us, especially gamers who might want to make the game a source of income, but experience problems and challenges that are too heavy to bear.

Ericko told how his story was very sad; starting from running away from home, being cheated by people, working improperly, eating once in a day, to being kicked out of the boarding house for not being able to pay. For most people, it may be right back to the lap of parents if they experience the above, but not with Ericko. He still holds fast to his ideology and doesn't care about what people say.

His persistence indeed producing results. Ericko is currently known as an inspiring figure who does not hesitate to present critical content in the gaming community. With his trademark style that tends to be toxic and eccentric, Ericko is even more popular and exists as a new Youtube creator. This is where the wad of cash began to flow into his pocket.

With the income he has, Ericko is now able to buy luxury cars that all come from his sweat! If you think he's a proud person and wants to show off, you're wrong! Before buying the luxury car, Ericko had donated all of his income from LGS Springs 2018 to an orphanage foundation. One thing that might never be imagined if we judge someone just by the cover alone.
