FromSoftware Says Elden Ring Can Be Finished in 30 Hours
Despite the 30-hour estimation, it depends on the playstyle of the player to finish Elden Ring.
News | 25 January
The developers of Elden Ring, FromSoftware, opened up about the estimated time to complete the game. In an interview at the Taipei Game Show (as per IGN), the developer, Yasuhiro Kitao, said that Elden Ring could be completed within 30 hours. However, it all depends on the playstyle of the player.
Kitao also added that, aside from the main content, Elden Ring also has numerous side content. This additional content adds up to the overall time it takes to complete Elden Ring.
The vast world also allows players to explore the entire map freely. This is also the reason why the developers added the Mount system. By riding a mount, players can explore new regions far quicker and easier. Players can also choose their respawn location, meaning that they don’t have to start over from the beginning of their journey to the location where they died.
Kitao hopes that these will help alleviate players’ stress as he also admits that in terms of gameplay and difficulty level, Elden Ring will be on-par with Dark Souls.
Elden Ring is slated for a release on February 25 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
