Console is one of the most extraordinary entertainment tools and is still loved by many people today. Even console users from year to year are increasing, making console manufacturers compete to provide the best gaming experience.
Although currently the console market is only made by a few manufacturers, in the past we can see several manufacturers who tried to mix consoles in an unusual way. Whether presenting a unique form or somewhat strange way of playing, these strangest consoles in fact entertained gamers in this world.
So what are the weirdest consoles ever made in the gaming industry? Here's the full review!
1. Telstar Arcade
Yes, this is one of the early modern consoles that was launched, so it still uses various strange shapes. Telstar Arcade Coleco, released in 1977, is one of the most interesting consoles of the past that could attract anyone to play it.
You can play racing, obstacle, or other games very easily without having to unplug the existing device. Unfortunately, to use some of the devices on this console, you have to rotate the console, which is one of the most annoying things.
2. Apple Pippin
Apple once made a console which is considered to be one of the most ridiculous things in the development of this company. Before finally switching to present a phenomenal product iPod, Apple focused on products that would actually be difficult to sell commercially.
Pippin is a strange hybrid device. Running on a modified Macintosh OS, this computer was offered to consumers as an affordable computer, but did not come with a keyboard.
Otherwise, Apple included the AppleJack which is a controller as part of this console. According to the facts, this console is sold at a fairly expensive price of US$ 599. This project was eventually discontinued because it did not find success.
3. XaviXPORT
Must be admitted that Nintendo managed to make console making competition more exciting when they introduced the Nintendo Wii in 2006. However in the past, Nintendo's popularity was indifferent, especially when they competed with another company that presented a console called XaviXPORT.

Released by the XaviX company in 2004, XaviXPORT features a wireless motion-sensing controller that is used to play a number of sports games, such as bowling and tennis. In the past this console was considered strange yet revolutionary!
4. View-Master Interactive Vision
For people in Indonesia, this console is rarely known. The View-Master Console is a very strange console and the Joystick or its controller also the strangest and not ergonomic at all.
With a strange design and of course a strange game as well, playing this game is certainly very difficult and less interesting. No wonder if the prestige of this console was lost to the others.
5. Super Lady Cassette Vision
Super Lady Cassette Vision is one of the weirdest consoles ever launched. This console was created in 1984 with very striking colors. As made by the Japanese company Epoch, this console offers a variety of oddities.
Unfortunately the age of this console did not last long because after Nintendo and Famicom released their console, Epoch unfortunately had to be eliminated from this business!
