The hype of Cyberpunk 2077 is currently skyrocketing. After being anticipated for a long time, finally, the game by CD Projekt was released to the public. As one of the most anticipated games this year, many players are curious about the meaning of the game’s title, especially the word “Cyberpunk”.

The main antagonists in the cyberpunk genre are usually giant companies who are in power and want to use technology for unthinkable purposes such as world domination, while the protagonists are those who want to rebel from the system and are looking for better living.

It’s not just a conspiracy, the main story on cyberpunk games and movies are social criticism that reflects the world’s current situation. After we know the meaning of “cyberpunk”, then you will see Cyberpunk 2077 as more than just a usual RPG. Aside from the thrilling action and breathtaking graphics, probably you can know more about something that CD Projekt Red wants to tell you with Cyberpunk 2077’s storyline.
