IGG announced the launch of its newest SLG genre game called Viking Rise on Android and iOS platforms today. As a game made by a mobile game publisher that is widely known through several popular MMO Strategy titles such as Lords Mobile and Castle Clash, Viking Rise has also received positive reviews since its beta test phases.

Legendary Viking heroes are ready to help players conquer civilization in Norse mythology. Wrapped in a realistic world with day and night changes and also seasons that affect gameplay conditions, players can adjust their way of playing without monotonous action every time. Animation of skills and maps in 3D modeling techniques and graphic rendering that is used is guaranteed to provide an immersive playing experience that spoils the eye.

Viking Rise's gameplay features include the management and development of towns and villages, where the player assumes the role of a Viking leader who takes his clan into the new world of Midgard. Additional waterway combat via its Drakkar Ship expands the opportunities for war strategy and navigation. Dungeon multiplayer also allows players to work together with their fellow alliance members to kill bosses and win the Divine Realm. The social aspect is guaranteed to make players feel more comfortable because of the interaction with other Viking leaders.

Unlike other SLG games that require players to stay online for smooth construction, research, or troop training, Viking Rise will make it easier for you with "Outdoor Meeting". Meeting with the Heroes will help the city develop continuously automatically according to the target that the player chooses, making it an idle playing experience that doesn't take up your time.

Apart from slick visuals, Viking Rise is also enriched with captivating audio quality. The strains and emotional nuances of the soundtrack by composer Mikolaj Stroinski add to the enjoyment of playing along with the luxurious audiovisual elements of this game.

To mark the release of this game, Viking Rise collaborated with Trevor Morris, a renowned two-time Emmy Award-winning composer known for his work on the popular TV series “Vikings”. Trevor Morris lent his expertise by composing the theme song “Viking Rise”, giving it a Scandinavian twist. He skillfully incorporates traditional Nordic instruments such as the Hurdy-gurdy and Nyckelharpa, and even brings in professional Nordic-style singers and performing teams to perform in Norwegian which further adds to the splendor of his epic compositions.
