Atlus releases the fourth promotional video for Shin Megami Tensei V. Shin Megami Tensei V will launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2021, and in Japan on November 11, 2021.

Nintendo previously revealed in January 2017 that Atlus was developing Shin Megami Tensei V for the Nintendo Switch. Atlus USA confirmed in November 2017 that the game would be released in western countries. This Shin Megami Tensei V game is part of the 25th anniversary project of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, and uses Unreal Engine 4.

The 25th anniversary project also includes Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, a Nintendo 3DS remake of the Nintendo DS game Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, which was released in Japan in October 2017. The game was released in western countries. in May 2018. Atlus also released the "fake" Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue as a free download for PC in October 2017.

Atlus USA released Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster in western countries for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on May 25, 2021. The game is also getting a PC release via Steam on the same day. The game launched in Japan in October 2020.
