The Last of Us Part II is a PlayStation 4 exclusive game that a lot of people have been playing at the moment. With great graphic quality and intriguing plot, gamers are interested to play the game. Naughty Dog also realizes that they need to implement all features necessary to support the players, including those with a disability.

Not too long ago a sightless gamer under the gamertag "SightlessKombat" successfully completes The Last of Us Part 2. Via his Twitter account, he shared the good news that TLoU Part 2 is the first game he completed with no sighted assistance.

“Well, I've done it. I've played through the entirety of #TheLastOfUsPartII and completed it, as a gamer without sight, with no sighted assistance,” the man called Ben stated.

“This is the first time I've been able  to achieve this in a videogame and for that, I can't thank @Naughty_Dog enough,” he continued.

He never said the time he spends to complete the game developed by Naughty Dog. But one thing for sure, it’s all thanks to the accessibility feature implemented in The Last of Us Part II.

Fyi, naughty Dog implemented an accessibility feature in The Last of Us Part II by adding a voice narration. The voice narration will tell the user all the things the user needs to complete the gamer. This feature is what helps a sightless gamer enjoy the gameplay of The Last of Us Part II.

Besides the accessibility feature, Naughty Dog also added auto-aim to help gamers target the opponents easily. This is what helps Ben beat any opponents that challenged him during the gameplay. Not just for the sightless, The Last of Us Part II has subtitles for those who require a hearing aid. 

Ben hoped that other studios will start making the same approach as Naughty Dog. so gamers with a disability can enjoy every game that is going to be released in the future.

“I hope that developers and studios are taking notes and will keep innovating in accessibility, creating experiences that everyone can enjoy,” Ben stated.
