Due to Coronavirus, Nintendo Switch Production Is Also Delayed

Not only Nintendo Switch, some other accessories are also delayed.

The Japan's Nintendo announces that there’s a delay to production of Nintendo Switch, including Joy-Con to the Japan market due to Coronavirus outbreak that were inevitable.

Previously, the CEO of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa has said last week that the production of this popular device was being affected by the virus (Corona).

After the Sino-US trade war, Nintendo began to move some of its production to Vietnam from China in 2019. Although it can still be helped by the production in Vietnam, but it does not have enough stock needed in the Southeast Asia region.

The death toll from the coronavirus in China is increasing, from 73 to 563 with total confirmed infections has reached more than 28,000 people. Health experts are trying to find the vaccine for the coronavirus that has provoked the fears of a global pandemic.
