Geek Fam attempted to seize the Lord, but Andoryuu's Retribution secured it for Natus Vincere. Kennzyskie and Maykids fell, and Navi finally gained momentum. A straight push into Geek's base resulted in Navi's victory in Game 1. Game 2 began, with Geek Fam playing more aggressively and disciplined early in the game. Unlike Game 1, Geek Fam now managed to secure the objective.

Andoryuu and Karss' combo attempted to help Navi turn the tide. The second Turtle eventually fell to Navi, who tried to chase it down. The 8th minute teamfight proved disastrous for Geek Fam, as Andoryuu's Hayabusa went on a rampage, opening the way for Navi to win the game. Teamfight after teamfight ensued, Geek Fam making major mistakes, and Andoryuu shone again and again, crushing Baloyskie and his teammates.

With Lord secured, Navi tried to attack Geek Fam's defense. Trying to defend, another teamfight broke out in the 13th minute. ABOY and Kennzyskie were defeated by Uk1r and Xyve. Navi attempted to penetrate Geek Fam's base, but unfortunately, Navi chose to retreat and secured a second Lord. Geek Fam secured the second Lord.

However, Uk1r, on the other hand, managed to take down two Geek Fam players. Andoryuu struck again and again, with Kennzyskie and Baloyskie falling victim. Victory was within Navi's reach, and Geek Fam's chances of failing to qualify for the MPL ID Season 16 playoffs seemed increasingly real. Andoryuu wiped out all Geek players and secured a 2-0 victory over Geek Fam in Week 8 of MPL ID Season 16.

This result means Geek Fam failed to qualify for the playoffs in MPL ID Season 16. It's worth noting that this marks the first time Geek Fam has failed to qualify for the playoffs since Season 10, their last season. From Seasons 11 to 15, Geek Fam has consistently advanced to the playoffs. Natus Vincere's victory further heated up the race for the final playoff spot.
