The MPL Indonesia Season 15 (MPL ID S15) competition continues in week 9, which is the end of the Regular Season. The battle continues where each team is still competing for a place in the upper bracket. Two well-known teams, Bigetron Esports and Geek Fam, are strong contenders.

The two teams, Bigetron Esports and Geek Fam, are currently ranked second and third in the MPL ID S15 standings. Not surprisingly, to determine who will qualify for the upper bracket is a battle between the two teams. Whoever wins will get a place in the upper bracket.

Ending the Fierce Duel Against Bigetron, Geek Fam Wins the Upper Bracket Playoff MPL ID S15

The battle between Geek Fam and Bigetron took place on Friday, May 23, 2025. As previously mentioned, both teams will be risking their positions in the upper bracket playoffs of MPL ID S15. For the record, Bigetron has won the upper bracket several times while Geek Fam is the first.

In game 1, Bigetron managed to dominate the game. The use of Baxia in Anavel's hands made it quite difficult for Geek. However, Geek did not remain silent, they gave fierce resistance. Emann was again the prima donna, his Irithel made Geek Fam's defense waver.

Teamfight occurred in the 14th minute, ABOY was defeated, Baloyskie was unable to hold back the attack from Bigetron. Geek players fell, the path to victory was open for Bigetron and finally game 1 was successfully obtained by the Red Robot. Entering game 2, Geek began to retaliate.

Geek managed to control the game at the beginning. Bigetron was made to fall apart, their game seemed unconnected. Geek freely took the defensive spaces from Bigetron, opening the way to victory. After the first Lord attack, Geek continued to attack Bigetron.

Emann was defeated, Finn was successfully obtained by Maykids. Gobs double kill with his Phoveus. Moreno was left helpless, finally Geek managed to equalize. The game continued to game 3 as the decider. In game 3, the strength of both teams seemed balanced.

However, Bigetron held the advantage over Geek. The first Lord was successfully obtained by Bigetron, however, 3 players from BTR were defeated, Geek tried to hit the Red Robot's defense turrets. Bigetron managed to turn things around, only they failed to close.

The game continued, the moment of the fight for the third Lord became crucial. Maykids managed to steal the Lord, one by one Bigetron players fell. Kennzyskie got a double kill, the path to victory was open for Geek. Finally, Geek Fam got the third game and secured the upper bracket in the MPL ID S15 playoffs.
