After previously Genshin Impact introduced the presence of a cat-shaped character named Kirara, ahead of her debut as a playable character in the open world game Genshin Impact, HoYoverse released the latest video trailer which introduces Kirara further. The character who is rumored to be a sword user with dendro elements comes from Inazuma. The following is the character trailer for Kirara Genshin Impact which you can watch below.

Kirara was officially announced to be present in the Genshin Impact 3.7 update which is scheduled to arrive in the game on May 24 2024, one day after the current Baizhu and Ganyu gacha banner ends. Kirara will be the first dendro user in the Inazuma region with Mondstadt being the only region that does not have a character with this vision.

Kirara's character description confirms that Kirara is someone who is very dedicated to her job at Komaniya Express, a delivery company that is quite popular in the Inazuma area. The trailer video is also proof that Kirara can send packages throughout the world of Teyvat. One of the reasons why he can deliver packages quickly and is extraordinary in his work is because Kirara can curl up and shape his body into a delivery box which can provide additional movement speed and protection that players need.

This is adapted to Kirara's ability in her Elemental Skill called Meow-teor Kick which can form a Shield of Safe Transport shield. In this condition, Kirara will enter Urgent Neko Parcel status which will increase movement, climbing speed, increasing jumping strength, and increasing stamina consumption from climbing. During this duration, Kirara can also deal Dendro DMG to the opponent she hits. This status can last up to 10 seconds and when it ends it will enter cooldown.

Meanwhile, Kirara's Elemental Burst is called Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch, which can destroy opponents by spawning small cats that will follow the active character while dealing Dendro DMG. This skill has variations and the cat is equipped with a shield which indicates the cat can also take damage when fighting. This Elemental Burst can also create a box containing a giant cat that can be blown up and deal dendro damage to enemies.

Kirara will be a 4 star character who will be released in the Genshin Impact 3.7 update which will be launched on May 24 2023. In this update it is also reported that Yae Miko, Al Haitham, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Yoimiya will get their turn in the series. Currently Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC.
