Getting Over It (GOI) is one of the Casual Action type games created by Bennett Foddy. Unlike other games, this game was created by Bennet to make the players frustrated!

GOI is a simple 2D game where players must steer one character through various obstacles to keep moving up.

Just move up? Where is the difficulty? If you have only seen other people playing and haven't play it on your own, you might not be able to understand how difficult this game is.

Just so you know, Bennett Foddy as the game maker deliberately presents the most difficult obstacles that logically can hardly be passed by the players. Bennett admitted that when making games he positioned himself as a player not as a game maker.

In this game you move a person named Diogenes whose body is halfway in a big stove. He uses the Yosemite Hammer to climb and pass all kinds of obstacles. The mechanism is quite simple, you can move the hammer using only the mouse or trackpad.

It's also has many variations. Not to mention that it must be adjusted to the obstacles. According to Bennett, an average GOI can be completed within 5 hours. Can be faster for those who are already accustomed to playing it. But for ordinary players, GOI might can’t be cleared at all.

Just imagine, it's so hard to climb and pass one stage of obstacles in this game. With just a few mistakes, you must repeat all these processes from the start if they fall.
