GPD is well-known as a company from China that often releases handheld devices based on the Windows operating system for the global market. After long rumours, GPD has finally announced their newest product, GPD Win 4. This is GPD's smallest handheld PC powered by the Ryzen 6800 APU.

Citing Gizmochina, GPD Win 4 comes with all the configurations from the previous GPD series, even the Win 4 series is also accompanied by a docking station and LTE module which will be shipped in March 2023.

GPD Win 4 comes with a 6-inch screen with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). As for the kitchen, this handheld PC is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U APU processor with an onboard Radeon 680M GPU. Interestingly, GPD Win 4 also has a Thunderbolt 4 feature that supports eGPU via the USB Type C port which is provided if you need higher graphics performance.

GPD Win 4 will also be available in several configurations that can be selected as desired. But later it will be available with LPDDR5 RAM specifications which support speeds of up to 6,400 MT/s with a capacity of up to 32 GB and 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage media.

Another feature that GPD Win 4 has is the Optical Finger Navigation feature, where this feature is basically the same as a touchpad designed for small handheld devices. Apart from that, GPD Win 4 is also equipped with a compact keyboard which can be accessed by swiping up on the screen.

Price

For the price, GPD Win 4 is priced starting at USD 799 (Rp. 12.4 million) for 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. A more premium 32GB RAM and 2TB storage configuration is offered at USD 1,200 (Rp. 18.7 million).
