GPD, one of the gaming device manufacturers, recently announced the presence of the GPD Win Mini. A handheld gaming device that offers high performance in a compact design. Unlike other devices on the market, the Win Mini has a more compact size, making it an ideal solution for gamers looking for a combination of portability and performance.
With a 7 inch screen that supports 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the GPD Win Mini promises a smooth gaming experience. The dimensions of the device are 168 x 109 x 26 mm, and it weighs only 520 grams. Although compact, its internal specifications cannot be underestimated. GPD embeds an AMD Ryzen processor, with a choice of Ryzen 5 7640U or Ryzen 7 7840U.
Regarding storage capacity, Win Mini offers RAM options up to 64 GB and SSD up to 2 TB. However, for the standard model, users will get 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Another advantage of this device is the 44.24Wh capacity battery embedded in both versions.
In terms of price, the regular version of Win Mini with APU Ryzen 5 7640U is priced at $ 699 or around Rp. 10.7 million. As for the model with the Ryzen 7 7840U processor, the price is around $ 869 or around IDR 13.3 million. Larger storage options with 32GB or 64GB RAM range in price from $999 to $1,149.
GPD announced the first Win Mini back in April. And recently, through a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, this company managed to raise more than $0.6 million or around IDR 9.2 billion in just a few hours after the campaign started. For those of you who are interested, the first orders of the GPD Win Mini are promised to ship in November.
With the specifications and features offered, the GPD Win Mini looks like it will become a tough competitor in the handheld gaming device market.
