At the One Piece Day 2023 event which was held in Japan a few days ago, it was revealed that the One Piece anime would have a new opening song. The 25th opening song for One Piece will be sung by the band SEKAI NO OWARI. Although the title of the song has not been announced, the visuals have been worked on.

SEKAI NO OWARI is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 2007. The band is consistent with four members: Satoshi Fukase, Saori Fujisaki, Shinichi "Nakajin" Nakajima, and DJ Love. SEKAI NO OWARI is famous for several of their singles such as “RPG”, “Nemuri Hime”, “Rain”, and others.

Megumi Ishitani will also be directing the opening. Megumi Ishitani worked on episode 1072 where Luffy Gear Five confronts Kaido. Apart from Megumi, this episode was also worked on by great animators from around the world. Many say that this will be the coolest episode in anime history.

For those who only read manga, it is highly recommended to watch this episode of Gear Five's appearance. Wait for the title leaks from the 25th opening of One Piece!
