Best Attachments for AKM
Here are the best attachments for AKM:
For Close Range Battles
- Compensator: Reduces vertical and horizontal recoil.
- Extended Quickdraw Mag: Increases magazine capacity and reload speed.
- Holographic or Red Dot: Adapted to the situation and playing style.
For Medium-Range Battles
- Compensator: Reduces vertical and horizontal recoil.

AKM’s Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages of AKM
- Has high damage.
- Easy to find.
- Suitable for early rounds.
AKM is the AR weapon with the highest damage in the game at this time, equivalent to the Mk47 Mutant. Similar to SCAR-L, AKM is scattered evenly on the map, making it easier to get rather than M416.
The AKM itself is one of the AR weapons that is powerful from the start without having to be attached with attachments first, making it very reliable to get early kills.
Disadvantages of AKM
- Has a high recoil.
- Only effective at close range.
- Only effective as a secondary weapon.
The main weakness of the AKM is its high recoil, making it difficult for beginners to master. This high recoil can only be reduced with the help of muzzles such as Flash Hider and Compensator.
Its high recoil is also the reason why the AKM is not suitable for use in medium to long-range combat. AKM will be getting out of focus as you shoot even with the help of an x4 or x6 scope.
Even though it has high damage, the recoil problem makes it less suitable as a main weapon. Many PUBG Mobile players choose other weapons that have better range, accuracy, and recoil as the main weapon, and put AKM as a backup weapon.
