Mathilda is the first Support-Assassin hero who has recently been released in Mobile Legends' Original Server a few days ago. You can get this hero just by logging in and immediately play her in Classic or Ranked Matches. Now, for those who plan to play Mathilda in Ranked, better check out this build guide!
So, what is the best build for Mathilda? Without further ado, let’s get into it!
1. Item Build
Arcane Boots
First, you can get a boots item for Mathilda. Of the many boots items, the Arcane Boots is a great choice since it offers Magic Penetration, which will certainly be useful for her especially in the early game.
You can also pick Rapid Boots or Demon Shoes if you need to. So, it actually depends on the situation!
Fleeting Time
After getting the boots, next, Mathilda can go for a Damage item called Fleeting Time. This item is perfect for her, aside from granting her 70 Magic Power and 15% Cooldown Reduction, Fleeting Time also has a Passive that reduces the cooldown of her Ultimate by 30% after she gets a Kill or an Assist.
Winter Truncheon
While her sub-class is Assassin, as a Support, Mathilda still needs high HP and defense to be able to help her allies.
Therefore, Mathilda can pick the Winter Truncheon for its 400 HP, 25 Physical Defense, and 60 Magic Power bonuses. Winter Truncheon also has an Active that allows her to enter Freeze state -- which renders her unable to do anything but will be immune to all damage and debuff for 2 seconds.
Glowing Wand
Next, Mathilda can make good use of the Glowing Wand, a great item that offers 75 Magic Power and 5% Movement Speed, the Glowing Wand also offers an additional 400 HP, making her tankier than before.
The Glowing Wand also boasts a Passive that grants burn effect for all Mathilda’s skills, which inflicts extra damage on enemies up to 4% of their max HP.
Divine Glaive
To get the best out of her damage, Mathilda can use the Divine Glaive, an item that amplifies Mages’ damage output as it offers 40% Magic Penetration, with a 30% bonus when the target’s HP is above 70%.
Immortality
Immortality is a must-have item for Mathilda because aside from increasing her HP and Defense, Immortality also offers a Passive, which resurrects her upon death.
2. Emblems
Support Emblem Set
As Support, it goes without saying that Mathilda should use the Support Emblem to increase her Hybrid Regen, Hybrid Penetration, Cooldown Reduction, Movement Speed, and max HP.
1st Tier Talent: Agility
As an Assassin-Support who will often roam to help allies, Agility is the perfect choice of a Talent upgrade for Mathilda as it increases her Movement Speed by 2% per level.
2nd Tier Talent: Rupture
For her 2nd Tier Talent, you may want to pick Rupture to increase Hybrid Penetration by 2 points at each level.
3rd Tier Talent: Focusing Mark
For the third Tier Talent, you can get Focusing Mark as it offers additional damage of 6% for allies who attacks the same enemy hero.

3. Spells
Execute
As an Assassin-Support who can chase down targets easily, Execute is a great Spell for Mathilda since it allows her to finish off a low-health target. Making it easier for her to secure kills.
Aegis
If you are more Support-leaning, you can use Aegis, which grants Shield to her and an ally with the lowest HP.
4. Combo
Mathilda’s combo is rather simple, yet it allows you to launch lethal attacks on targets. Here’s the combo:
Ultimate > Skill 1 > Skill 1 > Basic Attack > Skill 2 > Execute.
5. Gameplay
- Always use Skill 1 during the laning phase to poke enemies while also clearing minion waves at the same time;
- Try to roam regularly as Mathilda can roam effectively and has great ganking abilities;
- Mathilda’s Skill 1 can also be used to check bushes. So, use this skill instead of doing face checks.
