Lately, Nana got her resurgence as the support hero in one of the matches in MPL ID Season 5. 1. Item Build 

[Demon Shoes]

As a support hero that relies heavily on skills to launch attacks, surely Nana needs a huge amount of mana regen. Fortunately, in Mobile Legends itself, there’s a shoe item called Demon Shoes which improves movement speed and provides some mana regen. With the existence of this item, Nana won’t run out of mana in the early game.

[Courage Mask]

After Demon Shoes, the next item that you should immediately have is the Courage Mask. As we know, this item is the mandatory item for support heroes such as Nana to help the team. Courage Mask increases max HP, cooldown reduction, and movement speed which is very useful for Nana. Aside from that, this item also has an active skill that boosts movement speed as well as physical and magical attack stats for Nana and her surrounding teammates.

[Necklace of Durance]

Although Necklace of Durance is an item that is rarely used by other heroes in general, yet this item deemed to be really useful for Nana since it increases magic power, cooldown reduction, and several spell vamps. Moreover, Necklace of Durance also has a passive effect that can reduce the enemy’s HP regen or lifesteal after successfully attacks the enemy.

[Genius Wand]

Next, you need to purchase an item called Genius Wand to increase the damage from her skills. Genius Wand provides magic power, movement speed, as well as magical penetration that amplifies the damage of Nana’s boomerang. Also, Genius Wand has a passive effect which reduces the enemy’s magic defense.

[Glowing Wand]

If you feel like the damage that you inflict to enemies is still low, then you should use a Glowing Wand. This item increases magic power, max HP, and some movement speed that are helpful for Nana. Not only that, but Glowing Wand also has the passive that gives burn effect to enemies which inflict damage per second.

[Ice Queen Wand]

For the last item, you may use the Ice Queen Wand to increase her magic power, spell vamp, max mana, and movement speed. What makes this item so useful for Nana is the passive that can reduce the enemy’s movement speed. 

2. Emblem Build 

[Support Emblem]

As a support, this particular emblem certainly suits Nana really well since the support emblem will increase hybrid regen, hybrid penetration, cooldown reduction, movement speed, and max HP at the maximum level. For upgrading the talents, you may follow the tips below.

[Talent Level 1: Mastery]

As aforementioned, Nana is a support hero that relies on her skills to attack the enemies. Therefore, Nana needs a large cooldown reduction. In this emblem, there’s a level 1 talent called Mastery which increases cooldown reduction by 1.50% per level.

[Talent Level 2: Rupture]

The level two talents of this support emblem are all suitable for Nana, but in this case, the writer sides for Rupture since it increases hybrid penetration which resulted in higher damage output for Nana.

[Talent Level 3: Avarice]

Similar to the level two talents, at level three, all the upgrades are suitable for Nana to use, and it’s better to adjust it to your needs and preferences. However, in this guide,  the writer suggests you pick Avarice so that you can get more gold than usual.

3. Battle Spell

[Flicker]

Flicker is the most standard battle spell to be used for various heroes in Mobile Legends, including Nana. This particular spell allows Nana to dash or blink to designated spots.

[Aegis]

Aegis is a spell that can be used in certain situations and conditions, for instance, when Nana is facing a burst damager hero, such as Aldous, it is because Aegis will provide a shield for Nana and her nearby allies.

[Revitalize]

4. Skill Combos

Combo 1: Skill 2 > skill 1 > ultimate skill > basic attack. This combo is the most standard combo for Nana. She uses her second skill to morphs the enemy, then continues with boomerang attack, and ends with a crowd control using her ultimate skill.

Combo 2: Ultimate skill > skill 1 > skill 2 > basic attack. If the first combo turns out to be not so effective, then you may use this particular combo that initiated with a stun by using the ultimate, and ends with a crowd control from her skill 2.

5. Gameplay

Place Skill 2 in Hidden Places

When you’re about to use skill 2, it’s better to place it in well-hidden places with a high level of traffic of the enemies, for example, in bushes or river areas to give some pressure to the enemies.

Don’t Hesitate from Using the Boomerang Skill

Nana’s first skill has a rather brief cooldown. Therefore, it’d be better for you to not hesitate from using the boomerang to deal great damage to the enemies.
