Xayah has become one of the most popular Champions for ADC mains due to her unique set of skills. Moreover, if paired with Rakan, Xayah will be way more effective. However, even if she’s not paired with him, Xayah’s potential to rule the battlefield is not something to be overlooked! To help you to get a better grasp of this Champion here’s the best Xayah build guide by Dunia Games.
1. Item Build
[Infinity Edge]
While Attack Speed and Critical Strikes are her main focus, Xayah still needs Attack Damage. Therefore, Infinity Edge is your best choice for her core item.
It will increase her Critical Stike Damage with an additional +60 Attack Damage and +25% Critical Strike Chance. However, this item is quite expensive. So, it may take more time to actually get this item.
[Gluttonous Graves]
As for her boots, Xayah requires a good amount of lifesteal to give her sustain while being attacked by the enemy Fighter or Assassin. The lifesteal also helps her to take buffs in the jungle (when in desperate need of extra gold).
[Rapid Firecannon]
Speaking of attack speed, Rapid Firecannon is the next item for you to turn Xayah into a killing machine -- even against Tanks. This item grants her bonus range, making it more difficult to take her down in team fights.
[Phantom Dancer]
Next, you may want to pick Phantom Dancer. This item will make it even harder to take her down thanks to the 240-590 (based on level) bonus Shield it offers when your health reaches below 35%. Aside from that, it also offers 45% bonus Movement Speed and 25% Critical Chance.
[Bloodthirster]
When the game shifts to the late game phase, you can start to rely on lifesteal to engage with your matchup. Now, for the recommended item, you can pick Bloodthirster for 3400 gold. This item offers a 15% Physical Vamp with an additional Shield when you overheal.
[Guardian Angel]
To make it even more difficult for enemies to kill you, you can pick Guardian Angel as a precaution. This item grants you 40 armor and 45 attack damage with the Resurrect Passive.
Upon taking lethal damage, you will get resurrected with 50% HP and 30% base mana. However, this item has a long cooldown of 3 minutes. So it is suitable for the late game phase.
[Upgrade Gluttonous Graves: Quicksilver Enchant]
For her boots upgrade, you can pick Quicksilver Enchant. This item boasts an Active effect that removes all crowd control effects instantly. Perfect for Xayah, who tends to be the main target in team fights.
2. Runes
[Conqueror]
As a Marksman, Xayah needs high Damage to finish off her targets quickly. Therefore, you can pick Conqueror as her Rune. Its Passive grants her 2-6 bonus damage (based on level) stacking up to 5 times -- for a maximum of 10 - 30 bonus Attack Damage (based on level).
[Triumph]
For her Domination rune, you can pick Triumph for its 10% additional HP after getting a Champion takedown. It also grants her 3% increased damage to enemies with below 35% HP.
[Regeneration]
For her next Rune, you can pick Regeneration to give Xayah some sustain. Its Passive allows you to regenerate 2% missing health or mana every 3s (based on whichever percentage is lower).
[Manaflow Band]
As for her last Rune, you should take Manaflow Band, which increases your maximum mana by 30 (up to 300) when she lands an ability or empowered attack on an enemy Champion.
3. Spells
[Flash]
Flash is a Spell that works well for any Champion. Almost every Champion uses this Spell to chase down enemies or escaping from them. However, this cooldown for Spell is quite long, 150s.
[Heal]
Heal grants 80 to 360 HP (based on level) and an additional 30% movement speed bonus for 1 second. Your nearby allies will also get the effect.
Therefore, Heal is usually reserved for one player in the team, like the Marksman or the AD Carry.
4. Combo
In terms of her combo, you will find that Xayah has a rather complex combo for a beginner to pull off. No worries though, since Wild Rift already has a Training Mode, you can start to practice on it. Here’s the combo:
Deadly Plumage (2) → Basic Attack → Double Daggers (1) → Featherstorm (U) → Basic Attack → Bladecaller (3)
5. Gameplay
- Xayah’s Featherstorm (U) renders her untargetable. It can be used to dodge several target-locking Ultimates, like Zed’s Death Mark (U) and Fizz’s Chum the Water (U).
- Xayah’s Feathers follow the direction she’s facing when using Bladecaller (3). You can use Flash and then cast Bladecaller (3) to change the direction of these Feathers.
- Don’t use Bladecaller (3) immediately after using Featherstorm (U). Attack your target with Basic Attacks or other skills and wait until you gained enough Feathers then cast Bladecaller (3) to get the maximum outcome.
