Free Fire introduces many weapon attachments that can be attached to weapons in your possession. Each attachment comes with different functions that surely will increase your weapon’s abilities from various aspects. In this article, we will talk about every single attachment available in the game.
What is an Attachment?
Attachment (plural: Attachments) is an additional part that can be attached to weapons in your hand. A few attachments can be found scattered on the map, but there are also a few attachments already attached to the weapon.
What is the Function of an Attachment?
Every attachment in Free Fire comes with a different function. There is one attachment that can make you able to control the weapon in your hand easier, and there is also an attachment that can increase your weapon's firing range. Even though using attachments are not mandatory, but some weapons can turn into a deadlier weapon if attached with the right attachments. Here are seven kinds of attachments as well as its function!
Muzzle
A muzzle (plural: muzzles) can increase the weapon’s firing range. Currently, there are 3 kinds of muzzles in Free Fire, they are muzzle level 1, level 2, and level 3.
- Level 1: Increase the weapon’s firing range (small);
- Level 2: Increase the weapon’s firing range (medium);
- Level 3: Increase the weapon’s firing range (large).
Silencer
A silencer is an attachment that will silence the weapon’s sound that is produced upon firing. If a silencer is attached to your weapon, you can shoot the enemy without having to worry about your location founded by the enemy. A silencer is a single attachment that cannot be upgraded.
Magazine
Every weapon comes with limited ammunition or ammo. If you’re run out of ammo, you cannot fire the weapon and must reload first. The magazine’s function is to enlarge the ammo’s capacity and increasing the weapon’s reload speed. Currently, there are 4 types of magazines in-game, they are magazine level 1, level 2, level 3, and double magazine.
- Level 1: Ammo capacity increased (small), the weapon’s reloading speed becomes 0,5x faster;
- Level 2: Ammo capacity increased (medium), the weapon’s reloading speed becomes 1x faster;
- Level 3: Ammo capacity increased (medium), the weapon’s reloading speed becomes 1,5x faster;
- Double magazine: Ammo capacity increased (medium), weapon’s reloading speed becomes 2x faster.
Foregrip
Free Fire has a recoil system. The higher the weapon’s recoil, then the less accurate the weapon will be. To accurately shoot using the weapon, you can attach a foregrip onto your weapon. The foregrip is used to decrease the weapon’s recoil and the weapon will be more stable and more accurate.
Currently, there are three kinds of foregrips, they are foregrip level 1, level 2, and level 3.
- Level 1: reduce the weapon’s recoil (small);
- Level 2: reduce the weapon’s recoil (medium);
- Level 3: reduce the weapon’s recoil (large);

Bipod
Similar to foregrip, bipod also comes in a similar function which is to reduce the weapon’s recoil. The difference is, the bipod is usable when the player is crouching or prone. Bipod is a single attachment that can’t be upgraded.
Scope
The scope is a lensed cylinder placed on the top side of the weapon. There are two functions of scope in Free Fire, they are to zoom in to the targets and to see things clearer.
Zoom-in Scopes
When using a scope, the target will look bigger on the screen, making it easier to shoot. Currently, there are three kinds of zoom-in scopes in Free Fire, they are scope x2, x4, and x8.
- Scope x2: enlarge your view on the target 2x bigger;
- Scope x4: enlarge your view on the target 4x bigger;
- Scope x8: enlarge your view on the target 8x bigger. Already attached on sniper rifles.
Thermal Scope
The thermal scope is a special attachment that can detect every living creature’s heat signature. This scope is very useful in finding enemies hiding behind bushes. Targets will be visible in yellow silhouette, so you can headshot the target easily.

Stock
Similar to foregrip and bipod, the stock also able to reduce the weapon’s recoil. The stock also comes with different which is serves as a balancer so you can move faster when shooting.
Currently, there are three types of stocks in Free Fire, they are level 1, level 2, and level 3.
- Level 1: increase the weapon’s aiming stability and movement speed while moving (small);
- Level 2: increase the weapon’s aiming stability and movement speed while moving (medium);
- Level 3: increase the weapon’s aiming stability and movement speed while moving (large);
