Advantages and Disadvantages of PUBG Mobile SLR Weapon

SLR Advantages

• High damage output;
• Can use AR and SR attachments.

SLR is a DMR-type weapon with the second highest damage output in PUBG Mobile after MK14 despite having fire rate below SKS and Mini14, making it a perfect weapon for mid-range and long-range combat using single fire mode.

With the ability to knock the enemy with 3-4 shots to the body, SLR’s long-range performance is on par with sniper rifle weapons. 

SLR can also utilize every type of attachment except foregrip and can use both AR and SR attachments, giving it easier scaling.

SLR Disadvantages

• High recoil;
• Low ammo capacity;
• Small Iron Sight.

Like other DMR weapons, SLR has a rather high vertical and horizontal recoil.

Unfortunately, this weapon cannot equip Foregrip, making its recoil harder to control compared with SKS and Mini14.

Like SKS, SLR can only hold 10 ammos at max, although it can be higher with the help of Extended Mag/Extended Quickdraw Mag. Its lower ammo capacity renders it unsuitable for close-range combat.

Another thing to note about SLR is its low Iron Sight. Players who aren’t used to this kind of Iron Sight will struggle to lock on the enemies, therefore it’s advised to use x6 or x8 scope.
