On Tuesday, December 5th 2023, the official Twitter account for the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna II announced that the game's online services and related official website will be discontinued on March 28th 2024 at 2:00 am JST.

Starting March 28th at 7:00 am JST, the game Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna II will only be available in offline mode, supporting single player Score Attack mode and multiplayer battles in one location (maximum 4 vs. 4). Electronic money, Bandai Namco Passport, and compatible IC Amusement cards will not be supported in offline mode. More details will be announced by the game staff in March 2024.

Mobile Suit Gundam Game: Senjo no Kizuna II launched in July 2021 and features an open cockpit equipped with three 43-inch HD screens to recreate the cockpit in the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime, One Year War. Offering 4 vs. 4 or 6 vs. 6 team matches, the Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna II entices fans with an immersive gaming experience.

The first arcade game of the series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna, launched in Japan in November 2006, featured an arcade setup with cockpit-like pods for playing on a dome-shaped screen.

The port of Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna Portable for PlayStation Portable was launched in Japan in March 2009, and there is also a Mobile Suit Gundam VR: Senjo no Kizuna VR Prototype that took place at the VR Zone Shinjuku center in 2017-2018.

Although the online service will be officially ended, fans need not be discouraged as they can still enjoy offline battles in single player or multiplayer mode at the same location to play the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna II.
