As the two most popular Battle Royale Mobile game titles, Free Fire and PUBG Mobile are still competing until now. Sometimes this competition sparks debate among the players, from serious things to trivial things.
Here are 10 trivial things that sparked debate among Free Fire and PUBG Mobile players!
Doors
It's no secret that doors are the thing that Free Fire and PUBG Mobile players often fuss about. Buildings in Free Fire do not have doors, and this is always mocked by PUBG Mobile players.
The mock that reads "How come a game doesn't have a door?" made by PUBG Mobile players is also responded with "We want to fight, not visit" by Free Fire players.
Indeed, it feels strange to see a building without doors. Especially in war games, doors can be used as a strategy to trick your opponent.
On the other hand, not having doors in games is quite common. Usually, developers don't add doors to the game to cut production costs while avoiding unwanted bugs.
Auto-Aim
Aiming is something that can never be separated from shooting games. It requires players to aim first before shooting the target.
Most games require players to aim manually, but this doesn't seem to be the case in the Free Fire game because this game introduces an auto-aim feature.
The auto-aim feature makes it easier for Free Fire players to target the enemy easily, but that doesn't mean that the shot they fired will automatically hit the target, let alone getting a headshot. Apart from this, this is still mocked by PUBG Mobile players.
Recoils
Similar to the auto-aim case, recoil is also a mock by PUBG Mobile players to Free Fire players. PUBG Mobile has realistic gameplay where it applies the recoil system to every weapon like in the real world.
In PUBG Mobile, every weapon has a different pattern and recoil level so that players are challenged to master it. If you can't deal with it, your shot will be more inaccurate after shooting for a long time.
On the other hand, Free Fire does not have a recoil system, but this game has a similar system, namely the accuracy system. The accuracy system cannot allow the player to shoot continuously because the direction of the bullet distribution will widen, making the bullet not hitting the center.
Characters
Free Fire has many choices of characters with different skills so that players can make their Meta like in that of a MOBA game. This to make the Free Fire gameplay not monotonous, but for PUBG Mobile players, this is not something that makes sense.
PUBG Mobile players argue that this kind of gameplay makes a game like Pay-to-Win, where only players with a Meta character with the most powerful skill can win.
Gameplay like this has just been popularized in the Battle Royale game through Free Fire, but you can find it in other shooting games such as Overwatch, Valorant, and Apex Legends.
Pets
As with characters, the pet feature also doesn't make sense in the eyes of PUBG Mobile players, which creates a mockery "Why do you go to a war with a cat?"
The fact is PUBG Mobile also has a pet system, let's call it Falcon. But what makes it different is that pets in Free Fire have unique skills like characters, while PUBG Mobile pets are just for accompanying players.

Graphics
PUBG Mobile is also famous for its realistic graphics and is even said to be one of the best in the Battle Royale mobile game category. This is a pride for PUBG Mobile players because it is proven to have a game with above-average graphics on smartphones.
On the other hand, Free Fire has average graphics, not too crisp but not too bad either. The advantage is, Free Fire is more device-friendly so it can reach more players.
Collaboration Events
Free Fire and PUBG Mobile are well known for their frequent collaboration events aside from being the most famous Battle Royale games. Last year, PUBG Mobile collaborated with the popular FPS game Metro Exodus, bringing in an exclusive YAMAHA motorbike skin, and the most phenomenal is with the K-POP idol group, BLACKPINK.
Doesn’t want to be beaten, Free Fire collaborated with world football star Cristiano Ronaldo, the Netflix series Money Heist, and the ongoing collaboration with Attack on Titan.
Regardless of the success of each game, Free Fire and PUBG Mobile fans are still debating their respective collaborations with the mock "Do you want to fight or want to dance?" and "How can a Titan get killed by a jump shot?”
Surfboards
In the eyes of PUBG Mobile players, another absurd thing about the Free Fire is the inclusion of a surfboard. In the real world, a surfboard is used to slide on the surface of the water, but in Free Fire, this object is used to slide through the air when jumping from the airplane.
Mushrooms
In Free Fire, you can find several mushrooms growing in open areas. If eaten, you will get the EP healing effect which will regenerate into HP.
This is not a strange thing because some mushrooms are nutritious foods, but for PUBG Mobile players it doesn't make sense for Free Fire players to eat mushrooms at war.
Pochinki and Pochinok
The one thing that always provokes debate between Free Fire and PUBG Mobile players is that there are 2 map locations with very similar names, Pochinki and Pochinok.
Pochinki is a location in one of the biggest maps of PUBG Mobile, Erangel, while Pochinok is a location in the most popular map in Free Fire, Bermuda.
They are two different places. Pochinok is a city in the Pochinkovsky district, Russia. On the other hand, Pochinki is said to be inspired by a small village in the Mordovia region of Russia.
So those are 10 trivial things that are often used as a topic of debate between Free Fire and PUBG Mobile players. Which trivial thing (or mockery) small change do you meet the most?
