The reason was finally revealed during Vyn’s livestream. While chatting with a friend, Vyn discussed Nnael’s high price tag, and it was confirmed that his loan deal alone was already expensive.

"Why didn't Nnael transfer to another team? As far as I know, his price is extremely high," Vyn said.

"Should we say it? Yeah, let’s say it. It was 800, right? The loan to AE for one season cost 800 (million IDR). Straight from his own mouth," revealed someone in Vyn’s party, playing alongside Nnael and CW.

If just a loan costs that much, it’s no surprise that a permanent transfer would be even more expensive. This explains why Nnael remains with ONIC and why no team has been able to sign him outright.
