The playoffs for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) 2025 continued with two new matches on Thursday, July 24, 2025. The first was ThunderTalk Global versus Team Vitality. The second was a match between AG AL versus Alpha7 Esports. The winning team advanced to the semifinals.

Team Vitality's journey at the KWC 2025 Esports World Cup was quite bumpy. After securing a win against Dominator Esports in their opening match, they lost to Alpha7 Esports. However, they managed to bounce back and halt Dominator Esports' advance.

Playing in the Last Chance round, Team Vitality faced Gen.G Esports. Coached by Glen "Om Kurus" Pangalila, the squad defeated Gen.G and secured a place in the playoffs. However, they faced another setback when they faced ThunderTalk Global.

KWC 2025 Esports World Cup Results: ThunderTalk Global Ends Team Vitality's Progress

The match between Team Vitality and ThunderTalk Global will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, with both teams playing in a best-of-7 (BO7) series. As previously mentioned, the winning team will advance to the semifinals, and the losing team will be eliminated.

In Game 1, TTG aggressively pressured Team Vitality with their Fatih and Augran. In less than 10 minutes, several of Team Vitality's defensive turrets were slowly wiped out by TTG. Team Vitality managed to secure an Overlord, but it didn't prove to be the game-changer.

TTG continued to pressure Team Vitality. In the 10th minute, TTG attempted to penetrate Vitality's base. Vitality attempted to play defensively, but TTG opted not to continue the match. A teamfight ensued in the mid zone, where Snowy, using his Di Renjie, managed to take down ZhanQ's Pei.

Zaan fell to Qing's Fatih, and Vitality's players were defeated one by one. Qing secured two kills, TTG's wave entered, and TTG secured the first game. In game 2, Team Vitality played more aggressively against TTG, but their efforts were still insufficient. TTG managed to exploit gaps in Vitality's defenses and opened up a chance to win.

In the 8th minute, TTG had dismantled most of Vitality's defensive turrets. Conversely, TTG's defense remained intact. TTG attempted to attack Vitality's base without the assistance of Overlord. However, Vitality held their ground, repelling their opponents, and the game resumed.

TTG successfully controlled both Tyrant and Overlord, putting Vitality in a corner. TTG again attacked Vitality's base, successfully taking down Tufzzz. Overlord attempted to penetrate, but Vitality was on the losing end. Snowy's Arli managed to capture Niel, and Sunrise defeated ZhanQ's Agudo with Jingg.

Finally, TTG won Game 2 again. Moving into Game 3, Vitality took an early lead with ZhanQ's Luna. Despite the initial lead, Vitality was repeatedly overwhelmed by TTG's counterattacks. The Tyrant battle in the 10th minute was quite risky, and Vitality players fell.

Crane's Gan & Mo was excellent, coupled with Qing's Dharma. Niel was left defenseless, and TTG secured Aced, paving the way for victory. TTG's five players quickly chipped away at Vitality's defenses, ultimately securing Game 3.

Game 4 was the deciding game for TTG. A win would end the match, and Team Vitality would be eliminated. Conversely, a win would continue the game. Early on, both teams were already neck-and-neck, with a teamfight breaking out in the 6th minute.

Two Vitality players were taken down by Qing and Crane. Losing two players put Vitality at a significant disadvantage. TTG reapplied the pressure, with three Vitality players gone. TTG regained their lead over Vitality. Just under 10 minutes into the match, TTG attempted a straight push to open the way to victory.

Snowy's Hou Yi managed to take down the Vitality players. TTG completely dominated and was unstoppable, and they eventually secured a 4th game to seal their victory over Team Vitality with a score of 4-0. ThunderTalk Global advanced to the semifinals, where they will face NOVA Esports.
