EVOS have finally secured a win in a non-decisive match against NaVi during Week 9 of MPL ID Season 15. However, the victory has not come easily.

Despite both teams already being eliminated from playoff contention, many had assumed this would be a mere fun match. But instead, both sides have shown strong determination and a will to win.

No one has wanted to back down, leading the match into a full three-game series. Unfortunately, the match also has highlighted why both teams have failed to qualify for playoffs—due to numerous avoidable blunders from both sides.

EVOS have managed to stay composed in the final game, which lasted nearly 30 minutes, and ultimately claimed the series 2-1.

EVOS Dominated Game 1 With Guinevere Jungle

In the first game, EVOS have looked more relaxed and free-flowing. With no playoff pressure on their shoulders, they have played without the burden that has haunted them in earlier weeks.

Experience has become the deciding factor in Game 1. Even though NaVi have drafted a more meta-oriented lineup featuring Baxia, EVOS have responded with a surprising Guinevere jungle pick.

EVOS have played flawlessly. They have controlled every lane and executed their teamfights with precision.

Their strategy, especially with Chip in play, has worked smoothly, and they have won nearly every skirmish. EVOS have taken Game 1 comfortably.

EVOS Blundered Again in Game 2

In Game 2, EVOS have retained four of the same heroes from the previous match. Only Fluffy has changed his pick, reverting to his signature X.Borg.

But their old problems have resurfaced. EVOS have been pressured early, given up first blood in the midlane, and failed to capitalize on key opportunities.

They have had a late-game comeback chance after winning a lord-area fight, but Erlan has thrown the momentum by dying in a careless moment.

This has proven that EVOS’s issues have not been resolved despite sticking with the same roster. The team have faced difficulty once again, bringing the series level at 1-1.

Xyve Went Savage, But EVOS Took the Win

The third game has been a true battle. EVOS have struggled to execute clean setups as Xyve’s Granger snowballed heavily and even secured a savage during the match.

Fortunately for EVOS, their teamfights have been more coordinated and focused. Meanwhile, XMagix’s Luo Yi has failed to find any meaningful momentum or impact.

In the end, EVOS have emerged victorious in a match that held no playoff implications, but still offered a glimpse of their potential when playing with freedom and focus.
