The MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 Esports World Cup continues, with the Group Stage for Group B featuring eight teams in new matches to determine who will advance to the Winner's Match and who will advance to the Elimination Match.

Group B of the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup consists of several new teams, including HomeBois, Team Flash, RRQ Hoshi, Area77, Aurora Turkiye, ONIC Philippines, Team Spirit, and DianFengYaoGuai (DFYG). As previously mentioned, the Group Stage will determine who will advance to the next round.

MSC 2025 Esports World Cup Results: RRQ Hoshi Defeats Area77

The match between RRQ Hoshi and Area77 took place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, with both teams playing in a best-of-three (BO3) series. The winning team would advance to the Winner's Match, while the losing team would advance to the Elimination Match.

In Game 1, Area77 attempted to match RRQ Hoshi's strength. However, RRQ managed to find an opening and slowly break down Area77's defense. RRQ Hoshi secured the first Lord, a straight push by Toyy and his teammates.

Unable to close the game with the first Lord, RRQ returned to attack the Area77 base with the second Lord. A major teamfight ensued at the Area77 base, and as the opposing players fell, RRQ Hoshi ultimately secured Game 1. In Game 2, RRQ played more aggressively.

Area77 was denied any room to maneuver, and RRQ Hoshi took control of the game. Area77 tried to fight back, and the second Lord was stolen from RRQ. However, RRQ managed to repel Area77's forces. Toyy's Harith managed to capture JOYBOJ and Hunter, putting RRQ one step closer to victory.

Ultimately, RRQ Hoshi secured a comprehensive victory over Area77 with a score of 2-0 and advanced to the next match. RRQ will face the winner of the match between ONIC and AURORA Turkiye, while Area77 will advance to the Elimination Match for the next round.
