The MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 Esports World Cup continues with the first day of the Knockout Stage on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. On the first day of the Knockout Stage, two new matches were presented: Team Liquid PH versus Aurora Turkiye, followed by Mythic SEAL versus ONIC as the final match.

These two matches are certainly very prestigious, considering that no second chance is given to any team in the Knockout Stage. A loss is eliminated, and a win advances to the next round. This is a very exciting round for all teams.

MSC 2025 Esports World Cup Results: ONIC and Team Liquid Advance to the Semifinals!

As previously mentioned, on the first day of the MSC 2025 Knockout stage, two new matches were presented: Team Liquid PH versus Aurora Turkiye, and the final match, Mythic SEAL versus ONIC. If either team loses, they will be eliminated.

In the first match, Team Liquid PH faced Aurora Turkiye. Lancelot, played by TLPH Jungler Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, was on hand to heat up the stage. Indeed, the combo of Lancelot in KarlTzy's hands and Granger in Kiel "OHEB" Soriano proved a major strength for Team Liquid PH.

Team Liquid PH won Game 1 in the 12th minute. In Game 2, Team Liquid PH tried to play more defensively with Fredrinn in KarlTzy's hands. Playing more objectively, Aurora Turkiye was overwhelmed time and again. With just one Lord, Team Liquid PH managed to secure Game 2.

In Game 3, Aurora began to put up a fight against Team Liquid PH. Despite some early resistance, Team Liquid PH went on a rampage in the mid-game, stunning Aurora. The first Lord was secured, and The Cavalries immediately attacked Aurora's base.

Team Liquid PH secured the second Lord, and Aurora was attacked again. Aurora defended and pushed back TLPH, allowing the game to resume. The battle for the third Lord saw both teams battle fiercely. A teamfight broke out, and Rosa was taken down by OHEB. Lunar and Sigibum disappeared, paving the way for Team Liquid PH to win.

Jaypee, Sanji, and KarlTzy repelled APEX47. Aurora's base was exposed, and TLPH prepared to seize the victory. Ultimately, Team Liquid PH won the match 3-0 and advanced to the semifinals. Team Liquid PH will await the winner between Mythic SEAL and ONIC, while Aurora Turkiye was eliminated from the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup.

In the second match between Mythic SEAL and ONIC, the two teams battled it out from the start. The score remained even until the mid-game, but ONIC managed to secure several turrets. In the first Lord battle, ONIC managed to take down three Mythic SEAL players, with Savero's Moskov securing two kills.

ONIC successfully attacked the Mythic SEAL base with the first Lord, but were unable to close the game. Mythic SEAL briefly gained momentum and attempted to retaliate. A teamfight ensued in the 13th minute, with Kairi taking down two Mythic SEAL players.

ONIC began to forge their path to victory, with Niko and Boye remaining helpless, and ONIC ultimately secured Game 1. In Game 2, ONIC became even more aggressive, with Kairi's Hayabusa combo and Savero's Moskov key to ONIC's attack.

Mythic SEAL was rendered helpless, as ONIC completely took control. The second Lord battle proved a pivotal moment for ONIC. A teamfight broke out, Savero secured Boye for initiation, and Savero secured two crucial kills. Kairi secured Zippy, and Savero secured three more kills, taking down Kenn's Alice Jungler.

The path to victory was wide open, and ONIC managed to secure Game 2. In Game 3, Mythic SEAL attempted to rally and match ONIC's play. The presence of Beatrix and Fredrinn on Mythic SEAL seemed to be the difference. Despite initial difficulties, ONIC managed to corner Mythic SEAL by capturing various defensive turrets.

Although unable to attack Mythic SEAL's base with the first Lord, ONIC continued to strive for victory. The capture of the second Lord became a crucial moment for ONIC. A teamfight broke out, and Mythic SEAL was pushed back. The Harith Savero and Lancelot Kairi combo was in action, but ONIC still hadn't finished the game.

Mythic SEAL stole the second Lord, and Kenn and his teammates tried to build momentum. However, ONIC still managed to repel the Lord. The match entered the 18th minute, the longest of the match. ONIC secured the third Lord, and Kairi defeated Kenn. Kiboy successfully followed up with Beatrix Zippy, and one by one the Mythic SEAL players fell. Harith Savero's performance was truly extraordinary, and ONIC ultimately secured a 3-0 victory.
