The 2025 MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) continues with the Quarterfinals, featuring four new teams in two crucial matches. First, RRQ Hoshi faces Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG OG), and second, Team Spirit faces ONIC Philippines. These matches are highly anticipated by fans and are quite exciting to watch.
The journey to the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup title is certainly not easy for any team. They must overcome every opponent who is equally strong, and surprises can occur in every match. Therefore, the second day of the Quarterfinals, Thursday, July 31, 2025, will be exciting to watch. Please note: every losing team will be eliminated, and every winning team will advance to the next round.
The match between RRQ Hoshi and Selangor Red Giants OG Esports is a crucial one. The Kings will seek revenge from the M6 World Championship against the Giants of Malaysia. Meanwhile, Team Spirit, the dark horse team from Europe, is looking to test the limits of the M6 World Championship champion, ONIC Philippines, in this match.

MSC 2025 Results: SRG OG Defeats RRQ, ONIC PH Defeats Team Spirit to the Semifinals!
The second day of the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup Knockout Stage kicked off on Thursday, July 31, 2025, featuring two new matches. First, RRQ Hoshi vs. Selangor Red Giants OG Esports and also Team Spirit vs. ONIC Philippines. These two new matches were key highlights for fans throughout the Knockout stage.
In the first match between RRQ Hoshi and Selangor Red Giants OG Esports, RRQ and SRG OG were evenly matched in game 1. Trading attacks and securing objectives was the priority. Heading into the mid-game, both teams were still neck and neck in a heated duel.
However, the momentum finally swung in favor of RRQ in the 20th minute. Rinz's Zhuxin proved crucial, ultimately securing RRQ the first game. In game 2, SRG OG was furious over their loss. Kramm's Cici play was a key factor in The Giants' success.
Not only Kramm, but Yumss's incredible support, Gatot, coupled with Stormie's Pharsa, created an unstoppable force. With limited room to maneuver, RRQ Hoshi players fell one by one, and SRG OG secured game 2. Moving into game 3, SRG OG once again dominated.
Innocent's Claude and Sekysss' XBorg were highly effective, stifling RRQ once again. SRG OG secured game 3 and earned match point. In Game 4, RRQ Hoshi rallied with Rinz's Pharsa and Toyy's Granger.
Not willing to give up easily, RRQ's fast and aggressive play kept SRG OG at bay. Eventually, RRQ Hoshi won Game 4 to tie the score at 2-2. In Game 5, SRG OG dominated once again.
Innocent's Beatrix was once again a key strength, coupled with Stormie's Kimmy and Yums' Kalea, making it difficult for RRQ Hoshi's players to move. A teamfight broke out in the 14th minute, with RRQ Hoshi players falling one by one to Innocent, and SRG OG ultimately secured a 3-2 victory over RRQ.
The second match between Team Spirit and ONIC PH concluded the second day of the MSC 2025 Knockout Stage. In Game 1, Team Spirit put on a surprising performance. Their aggressive start with Yi-Sun-Shin Oneshot overwhelmed ONIC PH. A teamfight broke out near ONIC PH's base in the 13th minute, becoming a pivotal moment. ONIC PH players fell, and Team Spirit secured Game 1.
Game 2 saw ONIC PH go on a rampage. The combo of Kelra's WanWan and Super Frince's Selena proved crucial for ONIC PH. The capture of the second Lord proved crucial, paving the way for ONIC PH to victory. Oneshots fell, and Team Spirit players were taken down one by one, ultimately securing Game 2.
Game 3 proved to be a long battle for both teams. ONIC PH managed to maintain the lead over Team Spirit with Kelra's Granger and K1NGKONG's Joy, but Team Spirit refused to give up easily. Despite their early dominance, Team Spirit pushed ONIC PH back.
The two teams traded blows until the 27th minute, the longest game of the Knockout stage. Team Spirit managed to take down three ONIC PH players, leaving Brusko and Kelra to counter the onslaught from Kidbomba and company. Surprisingly, Granger Kelra managed to wipe out all Team Spirit players and finally, ONIC PH managed to get match point.
In the decisive game, Team Spirit attempted to take control from the start and hinder ONIC PH's progress. Team Spirit successfully attacked ONIC PH's base, but Kelra and his teammates managed to defend their base well. Team Spirit was repelled by ONIC PH. The capture of the third Lord proved crucial for ONIC PH's victory. Kelra and K1NGKONG once again provided a deadly combination for Team Spirit, eliminating each player.
Onic PH finally fell to the third Lord, who attempted to attack Team Spirit's base. The Lord was successfully stopped, but a teamfight broke out in the 18th minute. Kelra took down HIKO to initiate the attack, and K1NGKONG secured SunsetLover, paving the way for ONIC PH's victory.
Kelra, once again, proved a deadly opponent for Team Spirit. A triple kill was obtained, ONIC PH was one step closer to victory and finally Kelra got Maniac to close the 3-1 victory for ONIC PH to advance to the semifinals of the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup where they will face Selangor Red Giants OG Esports.
