MWI 2025 Esports World Cup Results: A Smooth Path for Team Vitality and ONIC Pertiwi!

A total of 16 of the best women's MLBB teams from around the world participated in the MWI 2025 Esports World Cup. As usual, the 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each. Only two teams will advance to the playoffs.

The Indonesian region has two representatives at the MWI 2025 Esports World Cup: Team Vitality (Bigetron by Vitality) and ONIC Pertiwi. Both teams are from the recent online Battle of Gamers (BOG) competition. For the record, MWI 2025 marks ONIC Pertiwi's first international competition.

Despite this, both Team Vitality and ONIC Pertiwi performed equally well and brilliantly. Team Vitality was placed in Group A alongside Falcons Vega MENA, Twisted Minds Orchid, and WAOW GG Esports. Meanwhile, ONIC Pertiwi was placed in Group D alongside DreamMAX Girls, Rising Rage, and FUT Esports.

In their opening match, Team Vitality defeated Twisted Minds Orchid with a perfect 2-0 score. Meanwhile, ONIC Pertiwi also secured a 2-0 victory over DreamMAX Girls. Onic Pertiwi's Gold Laner, Yippy, even secured a Savage. This proved that ONIC Pertiwi was well-prepared to compete in the MWI 2025 Esports World Cup.

In their second match, Team Vitality faced Falcons Vega MENA. Then, ONIC Pertiwi faced FUT Esports. Both teams once again demonstrated their dominance, winning with a perfect 2-0 score. This victory propelled them into the playoffs.

It's still unknown who they'll face in the playoffs, but whoever they face will hopefully extend their run at MWI 2025 and bring the title back to Indonesia.
