The Worlds 2025 League of Legends competition continues in the Knockout Stage, where European team G2 Esports will face Chinese team Top Esports. As we know, there are plenty of surprises in store at Worlds 2025. Epic matches are presented in the Knockout stage, with no second chances. G2 Esports has successfully proven themselves as a European giant capable of advancing to the Knockout Stage. However, their opponent is Top Esports, the main hope of the host nation, China. Worlds 2025 League of Legends: Top Esports Dominates, G2 Stopped in the Quarterfinals!

The match between G2 Esports and Top Esports in the Knockout round of the Worlds 2025 League of Legends took place on Thursday, October 30, 2025. As we know, the Single Elimination format doesn't give any team a second chance, so they had to win this match. As the home team, Top Esports was favored to face G2 Esports.

In Game 1, Top Esports appeared dominant from the start. Objective control was the team's primary focus to maintain their net worth advantage. Lin "Creme" Jian's play in this game was exceptional. With Akali, Creme recorded a KDA of 11/2/6, overwhelming G2. Some players even seemed helpless against Top Esports' onslaught, and Game 1 ended in the 30th minute.

In Game 2, G2 appeared to rebound with Hans Sama's Lucian play. Leading from the start, G2 secured several key objectives. Top Esports also put up a fight with the performance of their jungler, Kanavi. G2 secured control of objectives like Drake and Baron. They also won various teamfights, and the game ended in a draw in the 32nd minute.

Top Esports once again dominated Game 3, employing an aggressive and flexible draft. Creme excelled again with his Akali and Sylas. 369's support, Aatrox, was also crucial, securing a triple kill, and Top Esports finally took a step ahead of G2. The score was 2-1, and G2's position began to be threatened.

G2 attempted to rally in Game 4, dominating the first 15 minutes with Hans Sama's Draven play. However, Top Esports fought back and dominated the game, winning numerous teamfights and securing Baron in the 27th minute. JackeyLove's play was crucial, and Top Esports ultimately stopped G2's advance with a 3-1 victory.
