The official Twitter account for the anime series based on the badminton novel Love All Play by Asami Koseki announced on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 that the boy band Hey! Say! JUMP will return to perform the opening theme song "Sandersonia" for the second Love All Play anime series. Vocalist and guitarist Kenta Kataoka of the band sumika wrote the lyrics.

The boyband previously performed the first opening theme song for the Love All Play anime, entitled "Haru Tsubame" (Spring Swallow). Kataoka of the band sumika also wrote the lyrics for the anime series' first opening theme. The anime premiered on April 2, 2022. Crunchyroll streams the anime simultaneously as Japan.

Hiroshi Takeuchi (Storyboarder Peacemaker Kurogane: Belief, Blade & Soul, Zunda Horizon) is directing the Love All Play anime at studios Nippon Animation and OLM. Tomoko Konparu (Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, Nodame Cantabile) is overseeing the series scripts and also co-writing the scripts with Miharu Hirami (Kodocha, The New Adventures of Kimba The White Lion), Shingo Irie (All Out!!, Kuroko's Basket), and Michiko Yokote (Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Genshiken, Shirobako). Riko Kaneda is designing the characters, and Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia, Welcome to the Ballroom, Shaman King) is composing the music.

Leading badminton sporting goods manufacturer YONEX oversees and collaborates on the Love All Play anime design. YONEX also helped the previous badminton anime, namely Hanebad! From 2018.

Pureful Imprint published the first Love All Play novel in May 2011, and since then Koseki has written three more novels. Dam Miyata's manga adaptation of the Love All Play anime also launched on April 8, 2022.
