HoYoverse announced that "Honkai: Star Rail" Version 3.5 "Before the Death of Heroes" will be officially released on August 13, 2025. Version 3.5 will officially open the second chapter of Amphoreus' story. Trailblazer will meet new companions, face new enemies and events, and witness new appearances from his old friends.

In the previous version of the story, Trailblazer made a pact with Phainon and accepted the task of being a "savior." Meanwhile, Phainon confronted Nanook with a burning rage, halting Irontomb's progress once again. But the journey is not over, and rescuing Amphoreus remains an unavoidable challenge.

In the new Trailblaze Mission, Trailblazer and Cyrene will enter the next cycle of eternal repetition together, traveling back in time to Okhema, a thousand years ago. An era when "Emperor" Cerydra, holder of the fire seed "Law," Queen Okhema, and Aglaea's predecessor still reigned supreme.

Version 3.5 will also introduce a new map, where Trailblazer will be able to see another side of Styxia, the "City of Eternal Banquet." At the same time, the storyline will reach a crucial turning point: Trailblazer will face Lygus head-on, and this powerful enemy will constantly shift between two forms. As the battle intensifies, Lygus's true identity and goals may gradually be revealed.

In terms of events, Version 3.5 will not only feature new characters and a rich storyline, but will also introduce a variety of exciting new events for Trailblazer. Among them, in the "Chrysos Labyrinth Restaurant" event, Trailblazer will team up with the Descendants of Chrysos to manage a restaurant in Aedes Elysiae. They will serve delicious food to the little fairies of the Mystery Labyrinth and rebuild an abandoned shop.

At the restaurant, Trailblazer will act as a restaurant supervisor, striving to earn positive reviews from the fairy customers through good restaurant management. Meanwhile, in the "Old Bottles and New Friends" event, Trailblazer will return as an invited bartender at Dreamjolt Hostelry, mixing drinks. An old friend will also visit the bar to enjoy this warm moment with you.

Furthermore, Version 3.5 will also release a feature to separately change the collaboration character's voice. Trailblazer can freely choose to change the interaction voice, battle voice, and standby voice of the collaboration character from the current voice actor to the original voice actor, providing a more immersive experience.
