Here's the Initial Idea of One Piece Strong World Movie as Explained by Eiichiro Oda!

One Piece Strong World once had a different idea compared to the final release. This was the initial idea pitched by Eiichiro Oda!

One Piece Strong World is the 10th One Piece film with one of the best adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates. In this feature film, Luffy faced Shiki the Golden Lion who went berserk and made an island float.

Shiki used to be Roger's rival who was caught and imprisoned in Impel Down. To stop Shiki's wild ambitions and save his friends, Luffy decided to fight against this legendary pirate.

In 2016, Oda said that the initial idea for One Piece Strong World was about the birth of Nami. The film staff was quite surprised to know this and did not agree with the idea. Oda also decided to change his idea to be more attractive to young audiences. Oda himself also served as the writer of this movie.

In the end, this film tells about Luffy's efforts to save Nami who was kidnapped by Shiki. It is possible that the story of Nami's birth might be revealed by Oda in SBS One Piece in the future!
