1. Item Build
First thing first, we should talk about the item build of Wanwan in Mobile Legends. Item build is crucial to optimize Wanwan’s ability. Some items are suitable for Wanwan, and these are the recommended items for Wanwan so she can inflict enormous damage Dunia Games’ version:
- Swift Boots: A must-have item for the early-game to increase movement speed and attack speed.
- Berserker’s Fury: This is the best item to increase the critical rate and critical damage in Mobile Legends. You should purchase this item after getting Swift Boots. Don’t forget this crucial item!
- Endless Battle: after obtaining Berseker’s Fury, you should purchase Endless Battle to increase the physical attack and life steal for extra survivability in a team fight. This item also has a passive that is advantageous for Wanwan since the item increases the basic attack damage after using a skill.
- Demon Hunter Sword: After having enough physical attack, you should buy Demon Hunter Sword to increase the attack speed and life steal. This item has a passive that increases the damage dealt to tank heroes.
- Corrosion Scythe: if the attack speed is still lacking, you should buy an item called Corrosion Scythe to increase the physical attack and attack speed. Corrosion Scythe has a passive that reduces the opponent’s movement speed and increases the user’s attack speed.
- Blade of Despair: this is another must-buy item for Wanwan since the item increases the physical attack by 170 points. Also, the item has a passive that increases damage by 50% to an enemy with an HP below 50%.
2. Emblem
The next part of this guide is the Emblem for Wanwan in Mobile Legends. Out of all emblems in the game, only one is suitable for Wanwan, and that is the marksman emblem. This Emblem gives additional useful statuses for Wanwan like physical attack, physical penetration, attack speed, life steal, and critical chance.
For the upgrade in the first-tier, you should spend all points on Fatal since the upgrade gives an additional 1,20% critical chance on every level. With this upgrade, Wanwan has a bigger chance to land a critical hit in the early-game.
In the second-tier upgrade, there are two suitable options for Wanwan. First is Doom, which increases the critical damage by 4,50% per level, and Swift, which increases the attack speed by 1,50% per level. Both options are great, you just have to pick which one suits you the most. In this article, the writer recommends you to choose Doom since you can gain attack speed from the items.
In the third-tier upgrade, you should pick a talent called Weakness FInder since this talent will give an additional effect on Wanwan’s attack that can reduce the opponent’s movement speed.
3. Battle Spell
The third part of this guide is about choosing the right battle spell. Out of all battle spells, there are only three suitable options for Wanwan in Mobile Legends.
- Aegis: Creates a shield that absorbs the enemy’s target. This battle spell is useful against heroes with enormous burst damage like Aldous or Gusion.
- Flicker: This battle spell is the most used. You can chase the enemy or escape from ganks using Flicker.
- Execute: If you are feeling confident and don’t need a defensive battle spell, you should use Execute as the finisher.
4. Gameplay Guide
After you are done reading the three guides above, next up is the gameplay guide when using Wanwan.
Since Wanwan is weak in the early-game, you should farm. Clear out the wave of minions and kill several jungle creeps for additional Gold and EXP. If the chance is present, you should kill the turtle on the top and/or bottom lane. Make sure you don’t die in the early-game!
Entering the mid-game, you can continue on farming while looking for the chance to kill an enemy for additional Gold. In this phase, you should try to take the objective like Turret or Turtle.
When the late-game phase comes, Wanwan is a terrifying marksman hero since she can inflict enormous damage. Play aggressive and kill the enemy, but don’t forget to keep an eye on your positioning since Wanwan has low defense. When an enemy closes you out, you should kill them!
That’s the guide to play Wanwan in Mobile Legends that you should know before you use her in the ranked match. Wait for more tips and tricks about Mobile Legends on Dunia Games!

As a Wanwan main, I doubt this guide, like al ot. First off, her p***ive can give her huge advantages in dueling in the early game phases( ofc excluding her counters) and in general I usually win with her in the early game phases with both pressure and wave control. Second, I don't quite see why you need to apply boots to her for a locked item when you can just change it to other items e. g. Scarlet Phantom and Wind of Nature. Wind of Nature is a must item for Wanwan in order to deal a secured high damage output while still having immunity to physical damage since almost all gold lane heroes are physical-damage based. Her damage output is insane from the early to late game phases( with regards to equipment changes in regards to the enemy's team composition. Third, I really really don't recommend execute with her. If you were to focus on higher damage output, I would suggest equipping inspire instead since it can help instantly proc her p***ive, dash quicker, and can also scale with her ultimate since it's auto-attack based. I'm not criticizing the author or what but I'm just giving it my thought of gameplay considering I'm suggesting how I usually play her. Her emblem is right tho considering it scales well with her s****set and kit overall. My equipment set with Wanwan is Corrosion Scythe, Demon Hunter/Wind Chant, Brute Force/Athena's Sheild(depending on the enemy's composition) Demon Hunter/Wind of Nature(Choose what you have left), Scarlet Phantom, and lastly Berserker's Fury.
