The Directorate of Digital Economy of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI) is again holding the Indonesia Game Developer Exchange (IGDX) 2023 which has been running since last May. IGDX is the largest annual event for game industry players dedicated to enhancing the technical expertise and business capabilities of game developers in Indonesia.

2023 marks the fourth year of collaboration between the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and AGI in holding IGDX. This event brings together key stakeholders from the game industry, both at national and global levels, from game developers who share knowledge and insights, to game publishers who explore opportunities for business cooperation.

IGDX is an accelerator program organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI) to increase the capabilities of Indonesian game developers and open their access to funding and partnership opportunities through the IGDX Academy, IGDX Career, IGDX Business, and IGDX Conference.

IGDX 2023 includes various series of activities. One of them, IGDX Academy, brought together 27 Indonesian game developers with mentors from both local and international levels. Then there is IGDX Career which connects the best talents from the local game industry with leading companies.

IGDX Business, will connect local game developers with experienced business professionals in the game industry. The IGDX Conference is a one-day seminar that presents keynote speakers from the Government, important figures in the game business, investors and related industries.

This year's IGDX peak event (Business and Conference) is scheduled to take place at The Stones Hotel, Kuta, Bali from 11th-13th October 2023. There is a slight addition to the format of the event, where this year 27 IGDX Academy participants will showcase their work in the area showcase, plus 13 game developers who passed through the curation stage.

It is hoped that this showcase will help them introduce the game to Conference participants, the general public who have previously registered through the official IGDX website and also potential business partners at IGDX Business.
