Story
NiaLand is an AI theme park that combines dreams and science. Vivy is the first autonomous humanoid AI in the world, featured in one of the attractions at the park. She gets on the stage every day and sings, even though she’s not so popular.
"I want my singing to bring happiness to everyone." Vivy keeps singing, with the hope that one day she’ll be able to achieve her dream of giving a heartfelt performance at the park’s main stage.
One day, she comes across an AI who calls itself Matsumoto. Matsumoto claims that he comes from a hundred years from the future, and he’s tasked to rewrite the history alongside Vivy by preventing the war between AI and humans a hundred years in the making.
How will these two AIs with different missions change the course of the future? It’s a story of how Vivy puts aside her being as an AI. The one-hundred-year journey of an AI songstress named Vivy begins.
Based on the synopsis, we can see that Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song does have a rather dark story and full of action. Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song has a unique and brand-new plot that we haven’t seen before. Therefore, it’s one of the best Spring 2021 anime around.
Vivy is written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, who have worked alongside each other in Re: Zero.

What Makes Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song Worth-Watching
New and Unique Storyline
As we’ve mentioned before, Vivy offers a brand-new and unique storyline that feels rather dark. There are lots of anime that revolve around AI or robots that revolt and fight humanity. Yet Vivy feels different and new.
The reason being, it tells the story of a singing AI who serves as one of the attractions in an amusement park with no other mission aside from entertaining the visitors. Yet she ends up carrying out a huge task of preventing the devastating war between humans and AI.
Most of its story follows the creation and the evolution of AI, the restrictions on AI rights that lead to the mistreatment -- resulting in a massive revolution from the robots.
Vivy grants the freedom for AI, which led to the rapid development of AI and a devastating end for humankind in just 100 years.
Stunning Visuals
It’s no secret that WIT Studio always produces top-notch series with beautiful visuals. The quality of the visuals will make you forget the dark side of the story it features.
A Long List of Amazing Soundtracks
For those of you who love Japanese music, chances are, you’ll love the songs featured in Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song. Aside from the epic battle between AI and humans, this anime also features concert scenes from several characters, performing original songs by Satoru Kosaki and sang by Kairi Yagi.
Vivy isn’t just a good choice for those who love quality graphics, but also for fans of Japanese Vocaloid songs.
Will Vivy continue her career as a singer like EGOIST? At the time of writing, it hasn’t been confirmed. But most fans expect that Vivy will continue to release new songs even after the series ends.
Verdict
Based on the points I’ve mentioned above, I can say that this anime is perfect for those who love series with dark storylines, some action scenes, and top-quality graphics. The songs featured in this anime also seem to attract more fans of Japanese songs.
