Since PUBG Mobile launch update 0.15.0 several days back, the new game mode manages to grab the attention of the players. Unfortunately, the game mode can’t immediately be played when update 0.15.0 is launched. But on Thursday (24/10), the wait is over since the latest game mode in PUBG Mobile is open for the public.

What is the Payload Mode?

As mentioned above, the Payload Mode is a game mode in PUBG Mobile. In this game mode, you can play using various “heavyweight class” weapons that are recently applied to PUBG Mobile. You can even play in the sky using a helicopter.

Payload Mode has similar gameplay with the classic Battle Royale mode of PUBG Mobile, but (so far) you can only play in Erangel. It’s just the game mode offers more explosion and excitement.

Just like CoD Mobile, the helicopter in Payload Mode can carry up to a four-man squad. When flying, the passenger can shoot that’s flying using the helicopter and also the ones on the ground.

In this mode, the helicopter will drastically improve your chance of winning since you receive various advantages. You can find repair tools that can fix all kinds of vehicles in the Payload Mode.

There’s also Super Weapon Boxes hidden in several locations. These boxes come with several deadly weapons. To make the game more funs, you can also revive your dead teammates by taking their ID Tags and bring them to the closest communication tower.

New Weapons in the Payload Mode

As previously mentioned, the Payload Mode comes with various “heavyweight class” weapons that previously didn’t exist in PUBG Mobile. These weapons offer more explosions and excitement for the game mode.

What are those weapons? See them below:

M79 Grenade Launcher

According to the detail shared by the PUBG Mobile team, the M79 Grenade Launcher is the same weapon caliber with M79 sawed-off shotgun or 40mm. You can utilize the weapon to attack the enemy that’s grouped up at one point and kill them instantly.

RPG-7

If you are a fan of Hollywood action movies, then you are familiar with this weapon. The weapon with a complete name of Rocket Propelled Grenade is aimed to destroy various objects such as cars, motorcycles, and even a helicopter. But you have to be careful when using it since the weapon is loud and left smoke when fired, and those things will help the enemies track you down. 

MGL Grenade Launcher

AS the name suggests, this weapon can fire 6 grenades. The grenade launcher has a high firing-rate and quick reload speed in comparison to other grenade launchers, making this weapon an excellent choice to make an escape route when your team is trapped.

M134 Minigun

This gun was popular thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s meme. In the Payload Mode, M134 uses 7.62mm bullets and has incredible firing-rate. The gun can fire 200 bullets before reloading. With the special magazine found on the Super Weapon Crate, the weapon can hold 300 rounds.

M3E1-A

M3E1-A is the gun often found at the Payload Mode. It can track objects and detect heat since it’s used to take down the enemy’s helicopter. Although it’s inefficient, you can also fire this gun to your enemy.

Air Strike Beacon

This weapon is undoubtedly special since it can trigger a small-scale Red Zone form where you stand. You can run out of the Red Zone before the bomber plane flies over the zone while dropping bombs.
