Besides The Warriors, Def Jam: Fight for NY is another popular beat ‘em up game on PS2. This game is about turf wars like The Warriors. But the characters are based on famous American rappers.

6. Prison Break: The Conspiracy

Prison Break is a film franchise that was quite popular in 2010. The success of the film made it adapted into a game that was released to PS3 and Xbox 360 titled Prison Break: The Conspiracy. The story in the game follows the film. You have to break out of prison with tight security. Other than breaking out, you will also face tough opponents.

7. God of War 2

Next is God of War 2, the best game ever released for PlayStation 2. The game developed by SIE Santa Monica Studio is a beat ‘em up game with brutal elements. You will slay your opponents with Kratos and his godly power. The gods and goddesses from Nordic mythology stood no chance against him.
