In most games, gamers use certain terms or expressions to communicate, including Mobile Legends. These terms are simplified English words that are meant to shorten their conversation. It’s because when playing MOBA you need speed and focus, even when communicating.

- Buff - Adding powers to an object in-game such as an item or a hero.
- Build - Combination of items used for a hero
- Farm - Killing minions and jungle monsters to gain gold and EXP quickly
- Gank - Ambushing the enemy in a group
- KS - Killing Steal, taking the last hit so your character is listed as the killer
- Newbie - New players
- Noob - Insult for those who can’t play
- Stun - Using a skill to render the enemy useless.
- Imba - Imbalance, not balanced or the enemy is too strong.
- Push - Attacking the lanes to take the turrets and enter the base.
- Nerf - Reducing the strength of an object in the game
