At the Pokemon Festival Jakarta 2022 (10/12), there were many activities that visitors could take part in, such as Pokemon Meet & Greet, Pokemon Parade & Dance, Kids Coloring Corner, Workshop & Competition, Pokemon Bingo Rally, Pokemon Unite Experience, and Pokemon GO Special Events, one of which was The Pokemon GO Invitational PvP Battle.

One of the highlights in the PvP Battle of The Pokemon GO Invitational was that Trainers who register can compete one-on-one with their favorite Pokemon. One of the participants was Zoë (@zoetwodots), the Pokemon GO influencer who came all the way from Australia to attend the Pokemon Festival Jakarta 2022.

During the match, Zoë managed to win 2 times in a row against Falkro and Kutucoklat. Zoë cruised relatively easily to win the PvP matches thanks to her mainstay Pokemon, Dedenne. “My favorite (Pokemon) for PvP at the moment is Dedenne, it works amazing and is really powerful. Many people think that -- because it is so small and cute -- it is weak, but it can actually do a lot of damage, of course supported by a proper use of the right Shield. But it is very fun to use.” Zoë said about her current favorite Pokemon.

Dedenne is an Electric Pokemon of the Fairy type. This Pokemon is small in stature and looks like a mouse, with bright orange in color and a cream-colored belly. Its legs and claws are short and chubby with tiny toes, so it's no wonder many consider this Pokemon looks too cute to be in PvP Battles. Apart from PvP Battles, Zoë also enjoys playing Raid Battles in Pokemon GO. According to her, playing Raid Battles allows us to gather and connect with the people and communities.

“Honestly, the thing I love about Raid Battles is getting together with the community and it's a great excuse to make friends and do battle together. If you're lucky, you can also get Shiny Pokemon,” Zoë said when she was interviewed by Dunia Games about the reasons why she likes doing Raid Battles.

Aside from that, according to Zoe, when conducting a Raid Battle, it is better for Trainers to use Pokemon that match the weaknesses of the Boss Pokemon in the Raid Battle. “It's a good idea to choose what type the Boss' weakness is, for example, if it is weak against Electricity, I usually pick Zapdos, so the fight will be much more fun.” Zoe said.
